Senior Data Scientist

Their innovative software empowers green energy players to automate power trading decisions, enabling them to become active market participants and maximize returns while managing risk efficiently.

That strategic investment will open new opportunities for them by giving them an exposure to pan-European platforms, industry expertise and access to new markets.

They are currently scaling their research and development team that specializes in developing innovative solutions to complex problems using cutting-edge technology and advanced scientific knowledge.


Your Role and responsibilities:

They are looking for an ambitious Data Scientist who is passionate about building data-driven products intended to support integration of renewable energy.

You will be responsible for improving advanced data science and machine learning solutions to optimize trading of renewable energy on various markets.

  • Develop and implement advanced machine learning models and algorithms, including XGBoost, CatBoost, LightGBM, and deep neural networks, specifically for tabular data
  • Analyze complex datasets to identify patterns, trends, and insights

  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to understand objectives and deliver data-driven solutions

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in data science and machine learning, especially techniques related to tabular data

  • Contribute to the development and optimization of our data processing and modeling pipelines

​What would make you a strong fit:

  • Relevant and proven experience working on data science projects
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python
  • Expertise in supervised and unsupervised learning techniques for tabular data
  • Experience with advanced algorithms like XGBoost, CatBoost, LightGBM, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and deep neural networks
  • Strong understanding of model evaluation, validation, and optimization techniques
  • Experience deploying machine learning models on cloud platforms and familiarity with cloud-based services for data processing and model deployment such as AWS will be considered as an advantage
  • Step beyond traditional roles to lead initiatives and introduce improvements
  • Experience working in team environment
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and in writing
