As a Java Developer and part of the team, you will work with Product Managers, UX Designers, Developers and Quality Engineers in an agile scrum environment to accelerate innovations and solve complex business problems for a leading provider of supply chain software solution. You will work with technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Microservices, and SAP HANA.

 

As part of the team you will:

  • Participate in each stage of the Software Development Lifecycle and take ownership and responsibility of your work.
  • Build and deliver Supply Chain Collaboration features using Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
  • Establish and advance performance, scalability, and sizing best practices for cloud native applications, in close collaboration with team members and colleagues from other development organizations. This will include development tasks for performance tools, performance test automation and reference applications.
  • Internalize business requirements and solve them with beautifully engineered solutions.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional team members.
  • Participate/Perform requirement reviews, design reviews, peer code-reviews, etc.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues on demand.


​Experience we are looking for:

  • 3+ years of development experience developing and maintaining production grade software.
  • 1+ years working on cloud-based or on-demand software solutions.
  • Demonstrated technical, business, and methodological leadership.
  • Excellent Java, Spring Boot and SQL skills.
  • Experience with REST, Maven, GitHub.
  • Experience with technologies such as ECC and HANA is a plus but not required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

 

A plus will be:

  •  Experience with Docker and Kubernates.
  •  Experience with Angular.
  •  Experience with Node.js.
