Quantitative Researcher


The team is reinventing how trading and investing work by creating exceptional products! Their focus is enabling over 1.5 million people to build wealth in the global top 3 choice platforms for trading. Together, we are looking for experienced Quantitative Researcher, who is independent thinker, eager to improve and build microservice architecture products in service of the people. 


As part of the team you will:

  • Conduct quantitative research on portfolio optimisation and user behaviour prediction with a focus on statistical and predictive models.
  • Take part in all aspects of the research process including data collection and analysis, methodology selection, testing, prototyping, backtesting, implementation and performance monitoring.
  • Work within a seamless but modular platform to handle all aspects of quant research – model building, optimisation, and back testing.
  • Building monitors and visualisation tools for various performance metrics.
  • Identify new promising data sets and develop robust data checking and transformations.


We will be looking for:

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research utilising large data sets.
  • Experience with Python, especially pandas and NumPy.
  • Basic knowledge of working with large data sets, including classification, regression, distribution analysis, predictive modelling, statistical testing.
  • Experience in Finance is a strong advantage, but not an absolute requirement. 
  • Additional programming skills, such as R, C++, etc. and MySQL/MariaDB knowledge is a plus, but not a must have.
