Senior DevOps Engineer

Our partner is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer who will take part in the creation of innovative products for the IoT sector. The project domain would be a remote IoT device management functionality.

They need their new Senior DevOps Engineer to:
• design and implement automated cloud service deployment and operations 
• drive deployment and operational topics with stakeholders and the team 
• participate in the evaluation of requirements, planning and technical discussions 
• take part in tasks estimation, risk analysis, and escalation 
• implement automation tools for operational tasks and incident recovery  
• shape the future of IoT by cutting edge software services on cloud platforms 

During your work career, which is at least 4 years long, you gained knowledge/experience:  
• to work with the newest technologies, understand complex systems  
• of operating infrastructure and Linux based services 
• as DevOps or Software Infrastructure Engineer  
• with CI and CD tools, preferably Jenkins 
• with cloud technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes 
• of networking and infrastructure services  
• with NoSQL cloud scale DBs, preferably Mongo DB Experience in working with Maven, Git, JIRA, Confluence 
• with provisioning AWS and/or Microsoft Azure services  
• with spoken and written English 

A big plus is an experience with:   
• implementing ELK stack in production environments  
• Grafana & Prometheus 
• distributed streaming platforms, preferably Kafka 
• OSGi 
• SQL databases, such as Oracle DB, MySQL, PostgreSQL
And BS/MS in Computer Science.
