IT Solution Specialist | Back office - Dynamics AX

Job Context:  

The company is looking for a Solution Specialist to join the IT Back Office Service Line supporting one of the group accounting solution deployed in 30 countries in Europe, Africa, Asia and North America. This position includes coordination of applicative support as well as involvement on technical and business related projects. As an IT Solution Specialist Accounting, you participate in deliveries relating to the ERP Dynamics AX.

The role includes following items: 

Support Finance Projects:

You support all Finance Projects having an impact on accounting solutions:

  • as an IT Stream Lead on accounting topics (for global finance projects)
  • as an IT Project Manager (for pure accounting projects)

Support Level 3:

You join the Support Level 3 and become one of the owners of Dynamics AX solution. You supervise L2 support activities and participate to L3 support. You interact with:

  • Business teams and Global Business Process Owner (to coordinate requirement collection)
  • Provider (to put in place adequate solutions)
  • Others applications teams (for interfaces monitoring)

Continuous improvement:

You consider both, the ability to support the application and the business usage in order to identify enhancement ensuring:

  • Application is continuously delivering value to business and is allowing all required accounting and tax processes
  • Application remains stable and running on supported servers and OS

Collaboration:

You are working closely and maintaining good relationship with the Global Business Process Owner for accounting in order to ensure:

  • The link between processes and application capabilities
  • Requirement and functional specification quality
  • Feasibility of projects / enhancement

Skills and Qualities:

  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX (setup and / or development)
  • Good understanding of end-to-end processes, and underlying accounting activities and tasks
  • Ability to use with SQL for query and report development
  • Know how to work in a structure with multicultural teams
  • Ability to manage business relationship with stakeholders
  • Efficiency in usage of Office package (Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word)
  • English is mandatory

Considered as a plus:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Reporting Services
  • Basic Knowledge of application infrastructure
