Our client is looking for a talented QA Engineer to join their remote team and growing business. Their solutions are in use by numerous high-profile customers in both US and Europe and has been in development for more than fifteen years. Its unique technology stack combines Java and C++, MySQL and Cassandra NoSQL, Apache, and WildFly (aka JBoss). The product can be deployed both on-premises and in the cloud, AWS or Azure.
Duties:
➣ Design, implement, and execute test cases
➣ Evaluate testing process, make recommendations as necessary
➣ Communicate with developers on a daily basis in order to resolve general issues
➣ Analyzing and understanding the product requirements and also applying them in the test scopes
➣ Continuously enhance and optimize automated test suites to improve test coverage, efficiency, and reliability
➣ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and drive them to resolution
➣ Write manual test scenarios & test runs
➣ Maintain test and product documentation
➣ Timely execution of test cases
➣ Identify, and record bugs
➣ Maintaining test environments
Competences:
➣ 3 years relevant testing experience
➣ Programming skills in Java and frameworks as Selenium
➣ Linux knowledge and experience
➣ Bash and PowerShell scripting
➣ Knowledge on TCP/IP model
➣ Relational and NoSQL Database knowledge and experience
➣ Experience with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) tools, such as Jenkins, Bamboo, or GitLab CI/CD will be considered as advantage
➣ Team player
